Top Ten Tuesday- Book Covers I Would Frame as Art

Top Ten Tuesday is a really cool original feature/weekly meme created over at The Broke and The Bookish.  Each week they post a new Top Ten List that bloggers join in on answering... and today (May 6) I'm one of them :)

Today's Topic

Top Ten Covers I'd Frame As Pieces of Art

This was SO hard for me because I am a cover whore.  I mean I just freaking LOVE book covers... and I have SO many favorites.  I tried to do ones that truly would look good on a wall other than just covers that I really like.

1.  Made of Stars by Kelley York- I love how the snow looks like stars and the colors are awesome
2.  Pointe by Brandy Colbert- Beautiful!!!

3.  Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler- I think this will always be one of my favorite cover.  I love simplicity.
4.  Where the Stars Still Shine by Trish Doller- I just think this one is SO pretty.

5.  One by LeighAnn Kopans- This would look so cool on a wall.
6.  Pieces of Us by Margie Gelbwasser- Another simple cover, but I just love it.

7.  Fault Line by Christa Desir- Simple, pretty, harsh all at the same time.
8.  Everything Leads to You by Nina LaCour- I am in LOVE with this cover!  The font, the picture, everything.

9.  Keeping the Moon by Sarah Dessen- I love all her paperback redesigns... and this one is my favorite.  Pretty colors, summer nights, the beach... how can you not like it?
10.  Bunheads by Sophie Flack- This just looks like art.  And I love the repetition.

So that is my art gallery for this week.  I can't wait to see what books you guys picked.  I absolutely LOVE looking at book covers, so leave me your links :)

  1. Wow. You've got some gorgeous covers this week. I love that we both have Pointe. It's such a pretty cover! I haven't read the story yet though.

  2. I would never pick up Twenty Boy Summer based solely on its cover. It simply doesn't speak to me. But seeing it framed? Um, I might just have changed my opinion! It really does look pretty.
Have you read all the books you picked?

    1. No I haven't read all of them. Actually I've only read 3 of them :( I'm glad you've changed your mind about Twenty Boy Summer. It does look better framed now that I really look at it :)

  11. Great list!! I love the cover for Pointe and Keeping the Moon. I have been catching up on reading Dessen's books, but I haven't read that one yet. I will have to move it up my TBR list.

  13. I just finished Everything Leads to You. I think the cover was the big draw. It's so pretty and visually stimulating. I also love Point, WTSSS, and Piece of Us, I feel like the all tell a story independently of the story.

    Thanks for stopping by!
