Top Ten Characters Who Are Fellow Book Nerds
Obviously Hermoine goes without saying, so I'm going to leave her off the list today :)
1. The Walls Around Us by Nova Ren Suma- Amber- She was in a tough place, but she found her joy in pushing around the book cart for the "library".
2. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell- Cath- Fanfic writer, Simon Snow addict.
3. Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins- Isla- She was top of her class... you don't get there without hitting the books!
4. Matilda by Ronald Dahl- Matilda of course!!- Matilda loved books and devoured anything she could get her hands on.
5. Looking for Alaska by John Green- Alaska- Alaska had a whole dorm room full of books.
6. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green- Hazel Grace- An epic romance was pushed along all because of the love for a book with no ending.
7. The Sweet Revenge of Celia Door by Karen Finneyfrock- Celia- Celia was into writing poetry.
8. Meant to Be by Lauren Morrill- Julia- Julia packed more books than clothes to go on a school trip to London!
9. Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky- Charlie- Charlie's English teacher gives him book recs and encourages him to write... which he does :)
10. We Were Liars by E. Lockhart- Gat- Gat liked the classics.

ReplyDeleteAwesome list!! I included Hermione and Cath this week. I considered Gus and Hazel, but ran out of spots. I forgot about Gat in We Were Liars, but I loved that book. I can't wait to meet Alaska in Looking for Alaska. I'm reading Paper Towns this summer (I have to read it before I can see the movie) then I'm going to read Looking for Alaska.

ReplyDeleteI'm going to go with your reason about Hermione too- love that gif! I considered Hazel Grace too so I'm glad you included her. I still haven't read Looking for Alaska, The Walls Around Us, and Celia Door but your descriptions make me eager to bump them up the queue! Fab list :)
