Top Ten Tuesday-- I Love Cover Font

Top Ten Tuesday is a really cool original feature/weekly meme created over at The Broke and The Bookish. Each week they post a new Top Ten List that bloggers join in on answering... and today (May 2nd) I'm one of them :)

Top Ten Covers With Cool Fonts






1.  The Thousandth Floor by Katherine McGee- I LOVE the script font.
2.  Emmy & Oliver by Robin Benway- The simplicity + cute cursive = LOVE.
3.  The Lifeguard Clique by Kathy Parks- The perfect font for the book content.
4.  Wink Poppy Midnight by April Genevieve Tucholke- Totally unique.  I want more font like this!
5.  To All the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han- I think this is actually Jenny Han's handwriting-- and that's just EVERYTHING.








6.  The Chaos of Stars by Kiersten White- Look at this awesomeness!!
7.  The Hanging Girl by Eileen Cook- I love the cursive/script font and I love the contrast with the pink and the more serious background picture.
8.  Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock by Matthew Quick- Simple, clean, and effective.
9.  Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz- YES!!!  I love how unique it is!
10.  Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard- I'll always have a thing for the PLL books with the swirly titles.

  2. I like a cool font too. The Thousandth Floor and The Lifeboat Clique both work for me (although in the case of Clique it might just be because I like that cover anyway?), and I LOVE the font on The Chaos of Stars. That's my favorite of the bunch.

  3. I love cool fonts too! I especially love the To All The Boys I've Loved Before covers. I didn't know that was Jenny Han's handwriting though, that's even more amazing!

  4. I love all of these! A good font treatment makes for an amazing cover. I love the Wink Poppy Midnight cover. I didn't know that about To All the Boys! How cool! I really adore those covers.

  7. Yes great fonts are something that make me love a cover. Emmy & Oliver, Wink, Poppy Midnight, The Hanging Girl and Aristotle and Dante are my favorites but they are all so good!

    My favorite one in this list was The Chaos of Stars. That font couldn't have been more appropriate.

  10. I love picking out different fonts for graphics I put together, so I love this post! I wish my handwriting looked like the Emmy & Oliver font! It's so pretty!

  18. The cover for The Thousandth Floor is one of the best I've ever seen. *heart eyes*
    I adore all of your choices, except for Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock - the UK cover also has an amazing font but the background is a cool blue, so I find that red far too startling!

  21. Nice mix of fonts up there. I can honestly say, I never paid that much attention to the fonts, but they really do make the cover that much more appealing. Great TTT!

  25. Oooh these are great!! I love all of these fonts soooo much! I adore Wink Poppy Midnight, I think that is my favorite! Although The Chaos of Stars is a very close second. Such a great take on the topic!
