Top Ten Tuesday-- TBR'D

Top Ten Tuesday is a really cool original feature/weekly meme now hosted over at That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week they post a new Top Ten List that bloggers join in on answering... and today (February 5th) I'm one of them :)

Today's Topic

Top Ten Books That Have Been On My TBR The Longest And I Still Haven't Read

  • Otherwise known as my biggest fails.
  • PS-- I really need to cull my Goodreads TBR.  I don't want to read 80% of what I saved 6 years or so ago... these are the ones that I do:

1.  The Secret Sisterhood of Heartbreakers (#1) by Lynn Weingarten- I added the SO LONG AGO, but I recently became the BIGGEST fan of this author, so now I'm totally wanting to read it.

2.  Faking 19 by Alyson Noel- I read and loved Saving Zoe, so Faking 19 seemed like a logical next book to read, but I never got to it (I even own it!!).

3.  Freaky Green Eyes by Joyce Carol Oates- I'm a huge fan of Joyce Carol Oates's writing, she's one-of-a-kind.

4.  The Locket by Stacey Jay- I don't know if this book is even in print anymore, but I think it sounds so ME.

5.  Also Known As by Robin Benway- Unpopular Opinion: I don't like spy books.  I KNOW.  I don't even have a reason for not liking them except that I always say I'm going to read them, and then I never do.  BUT, I really like Robin Benway's books, so I think this one will stay on the TBR.

6.  Roomies by Sara Zarr & Tara Altebrando- I added this book before I knew how much I liked Tara Altebrando.  Now I'm SUPER curious about it because she definitely has a unique spin on her stories.

7.  Pieces of Us by Margie Gelbwasser- I've always liked this cover & still do.

8.  The Moon and More by Sarah Dessen- Must. Read. More. Sarah. Dessen.

9.  Jessica Darling's It List (#1) by Megan McCafferty- It's MG Jessica Darling (and I own the first 2 books).

10.  Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally- I have not read ANY of this series and I really want to.  I added Catching Jordan to my TBR in 2012, so maybe I'll start with it.

What books have you TBR'd the longest??

  6. Hi! I have yet to read anything from Miranda Kenneally! The Moon and More was not my favorite Sarah Dessen novel. But I'd like to reread it because I think I may have been the problem lol.

  7. I have not read any of these, but I feel you on having a huge want to read on Goodreads. I've been trying to go through and take things off, but it's still quite long. LOL

  8. I still have to read like, alllllll of Sarah Dessen's books except for That Summer (which I didn't really like). The Hundred Oaks series is fun! I think you'll enjoy those!

  9. YES FOR MORE SARAH DESSEN. I didn't love Moon and More as much as I adore her older ones, but it was still a good read. And Catching Jordan was amazing! Such a cute story.

    Here is my list

  12. Freaky Green Eyes was actually really good. I read it forever ago, so I don't remember much about it except that I really liked it.

  13. I am interested in Weingarten's backlist. She won me over with her last book, and I vow to read ANYTHING Benway writes. Don't care what it is. I am all caught up with Dessen. She is one of my faves. The Moon and More was fun and cute and what we expect from Dessen. I was little miffed about the ending, but I liked it. I love the Hundred Oak books, and Jordan was the first, so it's special to me.
