Top Ten Tuesday- Fave Movie Villains

Top Ten Tuesday is a really cool original feature/weekly meme created over at The Broke and The Bookish. Each week they post a new Top Ten List that bloggers join in on answering... and today (October 4th) I'm one of them :)

Today's Topic

Top Ten Favorite Movie Villains

  • I don't read a lot of books with straight-up villains in them... Non-Romance YA Contemporary kind of blurs the lines between good and bad, so it was super hard for me to come up with villains.  So, I decided why not do movies since I did THIS, THIS, and THIS post about my fave nostalgic movies recently.

1.  Macaulay Culkin- The Good Son
  • Macualay Culkin played an evil little boy almost too good.  It creeped me out, and I loved every second of it.
2.  Beetlejuice- Beetlejuice
  • Beetlejuice was a villain in this movie, but he was also hilarious and awesome.
3.  Nancy- The Craft
  • I don't know anyone who wasn't creeped out by Nancy.  She's a scary woman.
4.  Alicia Silverstone- The Crush
  • Alicia Silverstone plays a fifteen-year-old girl who really knows how to live that stalker-life.
5.  Dean Pritchard- Old School
  • Even comedy needs their bad guys.  LOVE Jeremy Piven as a villain.  Cheeeese.  "Didn't we lock you in a dumpster one time?" "Yeah, I got out."

6.  David- Fear
  • Marky Mark totally freaked me out and made me afraid to have a boyfriend for a while.
7.  Coach Reilly- The Mighty Ducks
  • "It's not worth winning if you can't win big!"  The coach of the evil Hawks enraged me throughout this one.
8.  Coach Kilmer- Varsity Blues
  • Another sadistic coach.  Coach Kilmer takes high school sports to a whole new level when the entire town treats him like a god.
9.  Joey Donner- 10 Things I Hate About You
  • Andrew Keegan was such a skeez in this movie... it kind of solidified my love for him though!
10.  Jack Torrence- The Shining
  • Holy SHIZZZ Jack Nicholson can play a scary-ass dude.

What Villains did you put on your list this week??

  2. Beetlejuice lol. Good one. And Alicia Silverstone was a good stalker. I like Jeremy Piven in just about anything, although I don't think I've seen him as a villain? that would be interesting.

  3. I dont read many books with a strong villain in it either so it was a good idea doing movies. Beatlejuice is such an iconic character I totally agree with that one but to be honest I haven't really seen any of the others, maybe I need to now.

  12. Those are great. I didn't do TTT but I'd pick from Hannibal Lechter from Silence of the Lambs, James Spader from every 80s movie where he played a douche, Voldemort, the Terminator.

  16. I love Beetlejuice! :D
I'm always amazed at just how little screentime Michael Keaton has because he's just that good and has a presence thought the film even when he's not on the screen.
And I adored Joey in 10 Things. He was such a cute evil jock type.
Love your take on this week's list, Michelle!
