New Books Out Week of 1/19

These are the books I'm obsessing over this week:

By: Shannon Boggs Waller
In 1909 high society London, Victoria (Vicky) is something different.  She doesn't want to go to debutante balls and marry the rich guy.  She wants to be an artist.  After she's shamed and expelled from her finishing school for posing nude in an illicit art class, her parents try to marry her off.  But Vicky dreams of going to the Royal College of Art, joining the suffrage movement, and getting to know more about the working class boy who has caught her eye.

These are Harry's defining moments: 1.  Being badly burned during a bullying incident at 8... which has left him with terrible scars inside & out.  He's been tormented, bullied, and felt lonely every moment since.  2.  Meeting Johhny and starting the band.  Through friendship, love, and music, can Harry find where he fits in the world?

By: Lamar Giles
"Nick" is supposed to lay low.  No one is supposed to question who he is or where he came from.  But when he moves to his newest town and a new friend. Eli, turns up dead, "Nick" has to figure out what's going on in this creepy town.  With Eli's sister as his partner, they begin trying prove Eli's death wasn't a suicide.

By: Eric Walters
Adam is enjoying a normal day at high school when a global computer shut-down hits, and everything goes crazy.  Cars don't work, cell phones don't work, and public utilities are failing.  As he makes his way home (in one of the only cars that doesn't rely on computers to run), he find himself in the middle of chaos.  With the help of his police captain mother and former government spy neighbor, they help lead their neighborhood's charge to restore order and figure out how to survive.

Other Books Coming Out This Week:

I would love to read The Scar Boys and The Rule of Three.  Those 2 really caught my eye this week.  The Life's a Witch series looks cute too... I may have to get the first book soon.  What books are going on your TBR???

*The release dates I get are from Goodreads.  They may change, but I try my best :)
