Who is going to BEA?

So I'm going to BEA for the first time ever, and I'm super excited!!  I just went to NYC for my first time a few weeks ago and ever since I've been dying to go back.  Going to New York was never something that I really wanted to do.  I'm more of a beach vacation person than a city goer type.  Also I thought NYC would be super hectic, scary, and dirty.  While I have to admit it was a little scary and hectic at times, when I went there I completely fell in love.  It was so much cleaner and nicer than I would have ever thought.  And it was just freaking fun!!  I'm so glad I went because now I'm not nearly as anxious about this upcoming trip (although I still am freaking out a little bit).

So I've read all the tips out there (maybe not all, but a lot of them).  I got my badge, I've downloaded the BEA app, I bought a NYC touristy book.  But what I want to know is who else is going??

If you are going leave me a message here so I know to look out for you!  I'm so excited to get a chance to see so many of the bloggers that I've been following in person :)  That's going to be one of the best parts of this whole thing- besides the BOOKS!!!  I'm staying with Heather & Christie of The Turning Pages.  I hope to see you there!!

UPDATE:  Holy crap, I leave tomorrow morning.  I'm so excited... but SCARED!!  I haven't even packed yet... what is wrong with me?

  2. I am beyond jealous. There are no words. I hope you have a fabulous time and post lots of pictures of all of the awesomess that is BEA. I am a NY native but I have not been home in 10 years. I miss it. I have never been to a book event, so for one to be in my favorite place, it hits me right in the heart.

  5. Heyyy - I know we didn't get to chat all that much at the Book Blogger Picnic and we were at different tables @ McGee's after but it was still really great to meet you! I hope you had an absolute blast at your first BEA and that you got all the books/met all the authors and bloggers that you wanted to! I've gone ahead and stalked your blog (and Twitter) so we can keep in touch and keep up the bookish chats!
