Top Ten Tuesday-- Books I Hope Santa Brings

Top Ten Tuesday is a really cool original feature/weekly meme created over at The Broke and The Bookish. Each week they post a new Top Ten List that bloggers join in on answering... and today (December 19th) I'm one of them :)

Today's Topic

Top Ten Books I Hope That Santa Brings Me

1.  Once and For All by Sarah Dessen
  • It's definitely my goal to own all of Sarah Dessen's books-- and OMG the colors on this cover are 😍😍

2.  Letters to the Lost by Brigid Kemmerer
  • I definitely would like to get this book after hearing so much GOOD about it.  Also, I have the sequel (More Than We Can Tell) in my possession, so getting the 1st one is priority.

3.  The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay
  • I've been wanting this FOREVER.  It would be really cool for Santa to bring it for me :)

4.  A Week of Mondays by Jessica Brody
  • I'm a big Jessica Brody fan and I want to read allllll her books-- especially after reading In Some Other Life this summer.

5.  The Girl Who Fell by S.M. Parker
  • This book is SO me and I think Santa would agree.

6.  Feral Youth by Various YA Authors
  • I read Violent Ends earlier this year and it was hands down the BEST compilation book I've ever read.  I am SO down to read more of these books if they're put together by Shaun David Hutchinson.
7.  Before the Devil Breaks You (The Diviners #3) by Libba Bray
  • I still need to read Lair of Dreams because I am shameful, but I still want to own and read all the Diviners books.
8.  Only Ever Yours by Louise O'Neill
  • I read Asking for It last year and it wowed me.  So yeah, definitely want to read more by this woman.

9.  The Sacred Lies of Minnow Bly by Stephanie Oakes
  • Again, I read The Arsonist over the summer and now MUST read everything from Ms. Oakes.

10.  The Islanders Vol. 1 by Katherine Applegate
  • If you know me at all, you know I'm 100% 90's Retro Obsessed.  I've been trying to complete all my 90's series collections, and even though this one is an update of one of those and not the original, I still desperately want it in my life.

In less than a week, we'll all find out if Santa brought any of the books on our lists!!!  Which ones are your most wished for??

  7. I loved Once and For All, but I was a black sheep. There is this thing that happened and when you find out, the story takes on a whole different meaning. Letters to the Lost was stupendous!! I am not a Kemmerer fan. The Girl Who Fell was really good. It's a good cautionary tale. Feral Youth was actually an anthology that worked for me. I like the story in-between each short story. It tied it together well. I want Week of Mondays, Sea of Tranquility, and The Islanders too. I hope you get them all.

  8. I can guarantee you that The Sea of Tranquility is super amazing (in a heartaching way) and you definitely need it in your life. I just got Letters to the Lost recently and still haven't picked up my copy of Once and for All so I plan on getting to those soon, but I'm totally wishing I had copies of Jessica Brody's latest books as well because I enjoyed My Life Undecided!

  18. I have Once and For All on my shelf, but haven't read it. Not only that, but I'll confess... I haven't read a single one of Sarah's books. Also, as we chatted about on Finding Wonderland, yay for a book twin pick. Here's hoping we both have a chance to add Letters to the Lost to our shelves. :)

Merry Christmas, Michelle - and bunches of thanks for visiting Finding Wonderland!!
