New Books Out Week of 11/10

These are the books I'm obsessing over this week:

By: Annabel Pitcher
Zoe decides to write to a Texas Death Row Inmate to confess her deepest secrets.  This is someone who can understand what's it's like to have killed the person you love.

By: Julie Halpern
Alex has a lot going on.  Her dad died in a car accident and her best friend, Becca, slept with her boyfriend.  After stepping away from the friendship for a while, Alex finds out that Becca has cancer.  Now she's asked to complete Becca's bucket list for her... so that's exactly what she's going to do.

By: Adele Griffin
Ember was severely injured in a car accident... now it's eight months later and she still can't remember the six weeks leading up to the crash, and no one's talking.  Little by little Ember begins to find answers to her questions...

By: Margaret Peterson Haddix
Becca and her mom fled to Georgia after her father was sent to prison for embezzlement.  Years later, Becca's a senior in high school and is hoping for a full-scholarship to college.  This process begins to bring up the family's past, and Becca starts realizing that there are secrets in that past... and she may have just put herself and her mother in danger.

By: Matt de la Pena
A survival story about a teenage boy working on a cruise ship when a tsunami hits.

By: Arin Greenwood
After her mother is murdered in a mugging gone wrong, Zoey has been forced to deal with change.  She's going to a brand new school and helping to take care of her brother who is autistic.  When her dad goes missing, she finds that her brother might hold the key to figuring out what happened to him... if only she could figure out how to get it out of him.  And all those survivalist skills her dad taught her back in the day??  Well it seems they're going to come in handy after all.

Other Books Out This Week:

SO excited for Loud Awake and Lost!!  I'm sort of over amnesia books, but Adele Griffin is super creative, so I'm sure this one will be something fresh.  Ketchup Clouds looks cool too.

What are you going to be reading?
