New Books Out Week of 1/26

These are the books I'm obsessing over this week:

By: Elizabeth Scott
Emma's pregnant mother is being kept alive by machines.  She's braindead and being kept alive so that her baby can grow and live.  Now a grieving Emma finds herself doing all sorts of things out of character: mainly making a connection with bad-boy Caleb.

(The Mad Man's Daughter #2)
By: Megan Shepherd
Juliet has escaped her father's island and the secrets that she's left behind.  But with a murderer on the loose, she can't help but wonder if one of her father's monsters somehow made it off the island too.  The race is on to find the killer (and a cure for her own illness) before Scotland Yard does.

By: Jenny Hubbard
Written in verse and prose, this novel tells the story of a girl sent to a boarding school in the wake of a tragedy.  There she grieves through her writing (inspired by Emily Dickinson) and learning to lean on new friends.

By: Michele Jaffe
Sadie is recruited into a program where people "enter" into people's minds to watch them without their knowledge.  But what if you fall in love with the person you are supposed to be observing??

(Under the Never Sky #3)
By: Veronica Rossi
The conclusion to the Under the Never Sky trilogy!!

By: Steven Camden
In 1993, Ryan records a diary on a cassette tape.  He talks about the death of his mom, unrequited love, and dreams.  In 2013, Ameliah finds this tape.

(Cruel Beauty Universe)
By: Rosamund Hodge
Based on Beauty and the Beast.  Nyx has been betrothed to the prince of demons for all her life, thanks to a deal her father made.  Because of this, she's been training to kill him.  Ultimately she does marry Ignifex and finds he's much different than she was expecting.  He's not the cruel monster that she's built him up to be, and she finds herself drawn to him.  As she goes on with her plan to free the people from the Gentle Lord's curse, she must come to terms with her feelings for him.

By: Katherine Longshore
A YA Historical Fiction set in 1911 Victorian England.  Lady Charlotte feels trapped behind the walls of The Manor and her high-society world.  Janie is a kitchen maid who wants so much more from her life.  When their paths cross, rules are broken and secrets come out.

(Uninvited #1)
By: Sophie Jordan
Just what I said I wanted- A 2 book series!!  When genetic tests come back on Davy Hamilton, they say she will kill.  She's tested positive for the killing gene.  She doesn't feel any different, but she can't deny the test.  Then she meets a fellow carrier, Sean, who she wants to trust, but because they're both marked as dangerous she doesn't know how.
