Top Ten Tuesday- Book Covers I Would Frame as Art

Top Ten Tuesday is a really cool original feature/weekly meme created over at The Broke and The Bookish.  Each week they post a new Top Ten List that bloggers join in on answering... and today (May 6) I'm one of them :)

Today's Topic

Top Ten Covers I'd Frame As Pieces of Art

This was SO hard for me because I am a cover whore.  I mean I just freaking LOVE book covers... and I have SO many favorites.  I tried to do ones that truly would look good on a wall other than just covers that I really like.

1.  Made of Stars by Kelley York- I love how the snow looks like stars and the colors are awesome
2.  Pointe by Brandy Colbert- Beautiful!!!

3.  Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler- I think this will always be one of my favorite cover.  I love simplicity.
4.  Where the Stars Still Shine by Trish Doller- I just think this one is SO pretty.

5.  One by LeighAnn Kopans- This would look so cool on a wall.
6.  Pieces of Us by Margie Gelbwasser- Another simple cover, but I just love it.

7.  Fault Line by Christa Desir- Simple, pretty, harsh all at the same time.
8.  Everything Leads to You by Nina LaCour- I am in LOVE with this cover!  The font, the picture, everything.

9.  Keeping the Moon by Sarah Dessen- I love all her paperback redesigns... and this one is my favorite.  Pretty colors, summer nights, the beach... how can you not like it?
10.  Bunheads by Sophie Flack- This just looks like art.  And I love the repetition.

So that is my art gallery for this week.  I can't wait to see what books you guys picked.  I absolutely LOVE looking at book covers, so leave me your links :)

  1. Wow. You've got some gorgeous covers this week. I love that we both have Pointe. It's such a pretty cover! I haven't read the story yet though.

  2. I would never pick up Twenty Boy Summer based solely on its cover. It simply doesn't speak to me. But seeing it framed? Um, I might just have changed my opinion! It really does look pretty.
Have you read all the books you picked?

    1. No I haven't read all of them. Actually I've only read 3 of them :( I'm glad you've changed your mind about Twenty Boy Summer. It does look better framed now that I really look at it :)

  3. Such good choices Michelle! Everything Leads to You has to be my favourite of these choices, the font, the colours, the elegance that comes through, it's just so lovely, and I've heard it's fantastic!
Here's my Top Ten Tuesday if you want to take a look :)

  4. Wow! You have some beautiful covers on your list :) I especially like One and Pieces Of Us :) Great picks! New follower :)

  5. I really like the cover for Bunheads. So artistic.

  6. Great choices-love the Pieces of Us one :)

  7. Love the ones you picked. I can totally picture them hanging on a wall. I think Pointe may be my favorite!

  8. I completely forgot about Where the Stars Still Shine. I love that cover! I also really like Fault Line and Pieces of Us. Great list! And I love the frames around them. :-)

  9. These are all so great! I've never seen most of these, but I love the ones for Bunheads and One.

  10. Great list!! I love the cover for Pointe and Keeping the Moon. I have been catching up on reading Dessen's books, but I haven't read that one yet. I will have to move it up my TBR list.

  11. You picked some fabulous covers! I would hang all but two of these on my wall for sure.

  12. I just finished Everything Leads to You. I think the cover was the big draw. It's so pretty and visually stimulating. I also love Point, WTSSS, and Piece of Us, I feel like the all tell a story independently of the story.

    Thanks for stopping by!

  14. Oh, I love your picks! Especially the Pointe, Where the Stars Still Shine and Bunheads covers.

  15. These are some great covers! I am going to check out Fault Line, because that one really caught my eye. Thanks for sharing!!!
