Top Ten Things On My Book Wishlist
- I decided to share with you the books that I'd love to see MORE books like. I did a wishlist of topics before, so this time I'm doing a MORE LIKE THIS PLEASE List:
1. Grit by Gillian French- I just finished reading this and YES!! I want more main characters like Darcy-- STRONG, capable, fun.
2. The Other F-Word by Natasha Friend- I love that this book didn't force a romance in to overtake the story-- and I'd love to read more books about different kinds of families or children of sperm donation.
3. This Adventure Ends by Emma Mills- FRIENDSHIP. I need more books about the beautiful friendships out there!
4. The Female of the Species by Mindy McGinnis- I could read 10,000 books that GO FOR IT and aren't afraid of readers feelings.
5. All the Rage by Courtney Summers- I love honest books that don't try to make things better. And I'd just like MORE from Courtney Summers. Anything really.
6. Tease by Amanda Maciel- Books about the OTHERSIDE of things are always interesting. I don't always want to read from the victim's perspective.
7. I Hunt Killers by Barry Lyga- Because serial killers.
8. Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas- MORE books that mess with my head PLEASE!!
9. Crash by Lisa McMann- MORE series like this one!!! I loved the characters and the unique idea of it-- but that it was still rooted in reality.
10. A List of Cages by Robin Roe- MORE books about inclusive people that CARE.
What was on your list this week? What kind of things would you like to see more of in books?

Dangerous Girls hit my list a few months ago, and I am determined to read it. I keep hearing only good things. I plan to read A List of Cages within the month (fingers crossed). I thought The Other F-Word was charming, funny, quirky, and heartwarming. I loved getting to know the sperm siblings. Great list!

I like this spin!! I've totally read books before where I'm like DAMN I could use another book juuuust like this one.
ReplyDeleteThe only one of these that I've managed to read is List of Cages (which I adored), but your descriptions make me want to pick some of these up. I remember reading your review for The Other F-Word, and I'm definitely intrigued by that one.
