Top Ten Tuesday is a really cool original feature/weekly meme created over at The Broke and The Bookish. Each week they post a new Top Ten List that bloggers join in on answering... and today (December 2nd) I'm one of them :)
Today's Topic
Top Ten Most Anticipated Books For The Rest of 2015
1. Winter (The Lunar Chronicles #4) By: Marissa Meyer- I mean, obviously!! Cannot wait for more fairy tale awesomeness!
2. Underneath Everything By: Marcy Beller Paul- Sounds super interesting. I like books about dangerous friendships.
3. The Boy Most Likely To By: Huntley Fitzpatrick- MORE Tim from My Life Next Door!!! I can't wait!!
4. What We Saw By: Aaron Hartzler- I got this, but I haven't read it yet. It sounds super good, and I can't wait for it to be in stores!
5. We'll Never Be Apart By: Emiko Jean- Revenge and twins!!! And it's written in journal format.
6. The Rules By: Nancy Holder & Debbie Viguie- A thriller with unreliable narrators. I'm so in!
7. I Crawl Through It By: A.S. King- It's A.S. King!!!
8. Violent Ends By: Various YA Authors- An anthology written as a single story. It's about a school shooting & sounds like it's going to be tough to read, but worth it.
9. It's a Wonderful Death By: Sarah J. Schmitt- A paranormal that could be cool.
10. A Madness So Discreet By: Mindy McGinnis- Historical Fiction featuring insane asylums and a serial killer? Oh yes, I want this!
Also how could I forget:
(Winger #2)
By: Andrew Smith
My most anticipated of all. Comes out September 8th!
What are you looking forward to over these next 6 months??
I definitely can't wait to read The Rules, it was on my list, but I had 11, so I had to remove something/ I should have left it. I can't wait to see what Amy King has in store for us with I Crawl Through It. I have an eARC, but I know I'll get myself a copy when it's released. She's amazing. Great list, I'm looking forward to them all, too!

A Madness so Discrete sounds so creepy but good! I'm looking forward to that one too! I'm also looking forward to seeing how King handles academic anxiety, as she is brilliant at tough subject matters!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by the The Local Muse
I can't wait for so many of these books! It looks like we're going to have a great 6 months of new releases! I hope that you enjoy them all. :-) Thank you as ever, for stopping by my blog!
ReplyDeleteWINTER!!! Cannot wait for that book. And I'm very curious about I Crawl Through It - King's novels are always intriguing.
ReplyDeleteGreat top ten :D
We'll Never be Apart is one I am looking forward to . I want to check out What We Saw - Great list!
ReplyDeleteWe'll Never Be Apart sounds SO good! The cover kinda creepy too haha :') I'm still yet to read the Lunar Chronicles *embarrassed face* I hope you enjoy all of these :-) Here's my TTT if you would like to check it out! :-) Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI'm assuming The Raven King was originally on this!!!
ReplyDeleteObviously, but then Maggie had to go and break my heart and move the date!!
DeleteOh yeah, and start a blog already!!
DeleteI can't wait for I Crawl Through It either! It sounds very good. I love A.S. King's Reality Boy so I'm excited to read more by her!

Great list! All of your books sound amazing. I am a huge fan of darker books so I will have to check these out. :)
ReplyDeleteWith you on Winter. And I didn't realise Mindy McGuiness had another book coming out this year. That's going on my list. PS, love your blog - it's so pretty!
ReplyDeleteClaire @ Book Blog Bird
Thank you for saying that!! I was also new to finding out about Mindy McGuiness's new book... but it sounds so good right?
DeleteGreat list, Michelle. I didn't get a chance to grab UNDERNEATH EVERYTHING when I was at BEA. I am excited for a lot of these. I blogged today too. WINTER looks great too!!!!
ReplyDeleteI ALMOST put I Crawl Through It on my list this week, because the synopsis is so intriguing, but I've never read an AS King novel. I hear she has a lot of cool magical realism in her contemporaries!

I feel kinda crappy that I have never picked up an A.S. King novel. I suppose I should get on top of that. Everyone seems to salivate over her novels, and I kinda feel like the outsider sometimes.
