Top Ten Unique 2017 Books On My Radar
1. When I am Through With You by Stephanie Kuehn
- This author's books are all different than the average YA. Pretty much the "not like other books" of the YA book world.
- Pub. Date: 8/1/2017
2. The Other F-Word by Natasha Friend
- I've already read this and I've never read another book about teens, conceived through sperm donation, want to seek out their donor.
- Pub Date: 3/7/2017
3. The Possible by Tara Altebrando
- It's about a teen who may or may not have telekinetic powers-- it sounds dark and mysterious and I WANT TO READ IT!!
- Pub Date: 6/6/2017
4. The Love Interest by Cale Dietrich
- Teenage spies with a M/M romantic twist. I LOVE IT!! PS-- You can sign-up HERE to be on the blog tour if you're interested in this book.
- Pub Date: 5/16/2017
5. Literally by Lucy Keating
- The author is actually IN this book!! So it's about Lucy Keating, who is writing a YA novel and Annabel is the heroine. But Annabel doesn't want to have her life plotted out for her. How unique is THAT concept?
- Pub Date: 4/11/2017
6. The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzie Lee
- 18th century Europe and a gay romance? This sounds totally fun and I really want to read it!
- Pub Date: 6/27/2017
7. The Disappearances by Emily Bain Murphy
- I love "mysterious" towns that you don't know if something super natural is going on, or if the town just has bad luck. Something weird is definitely going on in the town in this book.
- Pub Date: 7/4/2017
8. See What I Have Done by Sarah Schmidt
- So this is Adult, but it's LIZZIE BORDEN!! I needs this! I have seen few Lizzie Borden TV shows, but not too many fictional books.
- Pub Date: 5/2/2017
9. Of Jenny and the Aliens by Ryan Gebhart
- Aliens and romance and a girl who disses the guy after a hook-up?? LOVE.
- Pub Date: 8/1/2017
10. The League of American Traitors by Matthew Landis
- You guys, YES!!! This book sounds amazing and is now my most wanted book of 2017!!! It's about the descendant of Benedict Arnold and a whole heroes and traitors war that has been going on in super secret for centuries.
- Pub Date: 8/8/2017

When I Am Through With You has a great cover, haven't heard of that one, and The Possible looks awesome (telekinetic powers??). Also The Disappearances sounds creepy and fun!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for When I Am Through With You. I love Stephanie Kuehn!
DeleteI hadn't heard of any of these books, but they do sound pretty unique. However I've never really enjoyed books where the author writes themselves into it (like Stephen King did in the Gunslinger books.) However, a twist on that where its the Author vs the Character.
