• I am so beyond honored to be able to ask Courtney Summers (my forever fave author) a few Q's as a part of this blog tour.  I've been blogging 6 years and interviewed a lot of authors, but coming up with these 3 questions were among the hardest?  What do you ask someone who you've wanted to ask countless questions???  This is what I came up with:

1.  What 5 teen books (new or older) would you put on a MUST READ display in a library?

2.  Can you tell us about Sadie as person?  Who was she before her sister died?  What are her favs?  Any random facts!!

I think Sadie has always had a single-minded devotion and dedication to Mattie, and these aspects of her personality intensified after Mattie died. One of the most marked differences between Sadie then and now, I think, is there was more laughter and joy in her life when Mattie was alive. Sadie was always mired in the responsibility and pressure of being sole provider and caretaker to Mattie, but there were moments when she felt and knew what it was to just be Mattie’s sister.


3.  If you could check-in with any of your characters (from any of your books) who would you pick and why?

I sometimes wonder how Sloane and Rhys are making out in that zombie apocalypse and how much more the world has deteriorated for them since I last checked in . . .





I'll be reviewing this book later in the week-- but right now all I can say is 😱.
