Top Ten Tuesday- Books I'd Want on an Island

Top Ten Tuesday is a really cool original feature/weekly meme created over at The Broke and The Bookish. Each week they post a new Top Ten List that bloggers join in on answering... and today (November 13th) I'm one of them :)

This weeks topic is:

Top Ten Books I'd Want On A Deserted Island

Books that make me happy:
Sloppy Firsts by Megan McCafferty
20 Times A Lady by Karyn Bosnak
Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein
The Dirt by Motley Crue

Books that I love:
Harry Potter 1-7 by JK Rowling
Some Girls Are by Courtney Summers
Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson

Books that make me think:
Scar Tissue by Kiedis
The Time Travelers Wife by Audrey Niffenegger

A book I haven't read but think could be useful in the wild:
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

A Book I'm NOT taking:
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green- Can you imagine reading this when you already know you have a good possibility of dying in the near future??

Bonus:
A book like the Complete History of the World because it would keep you busy :)

  2. The time traveler's wife would be good. You could read it really slowly and draw timelines and what not and actually work out what on earth is going on.
    Here's my list:

  8. I too would be an absolute mess if I tried to read TFIOS on a desert island.

Where The Sidewalk Ends however would definitely be a good choice on a desert island!:)
