Top Ten Tuesday- Favorite Covers

Top Ten Tuesday is a really cool original feature/weekly meme created over at The Broke and The Bookish. Each week they post a new Top Ten List that bloggers join in on answering... and today (May 21st), I'm one of them :)


Today's Topic:

Top Ten Favorite Book Covers Of Books I've Read

This was a hard one!  I tried to stick to books I've read recently so it didn't get out of control.  I am definitely a cover whore... I love way too many!!  Good thing this was book I've read because there are SO many cool covers on books I haven't read yet, I could go on all day!
 


  • Gimme a Call by Sarah Mlynowski- I just thought this one was adorable.
  • Meant to Be by Lauren Morrill- Pretty colors!
  • The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin- It looks really cool in person.
  • Shadowlands by Kate Brian- The girls on this cover are really pretty (there's another one on the back too)
  • This is Not a Test by Courtney Summers- LOVE!!!
  • Perfect by Ellen Hopkins- SO pretty in person.
  • The Lying Game by Sara Shepard- I just love the covers in this series.  It makes me want to buy like 5 of each book and line the girl up at the corners.
  • Hysteria by Megan Miranda- LOVE!!!  One of my favs so far this year.... really cool idea!
  • Crash By: Lisa McMann- Super cool looking in person... the flames are like glittery almost.
  • Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler- I've just liked this one for a long time :)

  •  I am pretty obsessed with the new covers for all Miss Dessen's books!!  I think my fav is Lock & Key, but Dreamland is really pretty too.... or never mind just ALL of them!!!

So what covers did you pick for this week??  I can't wait to see everyone's choices bc I LOVE covers!!

    That Sarah Dessen covers are gorgeous. Almost makes me want to go and re-buy the entire collection with the new covers!

    And I love the typography on the books you selected this week - I think that's what makes me like them so much.

    I think my favorite is Dreamland out of the new covers. And I LOVE the cover for Hysteria, too. And Twenty Boy Summer's cover is perfect for the story. Great picks!

    I really, really like your list! I am so picky about covers that as I look through people's TTT posts I keep being amazed at what people like (which is so mean, I feel bad!), but you and I are on the same page in terms of what we like. I have Shadowlands on my list and I debated putting This Is Not a Test on, but I feel like I use that one for a lot of TTT posts. I also really like the Sarah Dessen redesigns.

      lol sometimes I don't get why people like certain covers either, it confuses me!! LOVE This is Not a Test and Courtney Summers in general, she's rad!

    I almost included the Meant to Be cover, today too. I love those colors too, and the two people embracing. But I decided on some different ones instead.

    I do love the cover for the Unbecoming of Mara Dyer cover, but I really disliked the book. I think it's either I love it, or I hate it kind of book.

      I liked it, but I didn't like Mara when she got around Noah... too clingy!!!!

    I'm glad you love Sarah Dessen's book covers, but I myself prefer the old ones. I feel like these new cover just don't represent Sarah Dessen very well. I have not read a single book on your top 10 list although I love The Lying Game TV show.

      I am obsessed w/ The Lying Game TV show!!! Like SO obsessed! I think I will cry if it gets cancelled. ABCFamily needs to renew it!

    Great top ten (18)! The new Sarah Dessens are EPIC! (And it is kinda funny, I just bought Lock and Key the other day, which is your favorite cover!)

    I also love the twenty boy summer cover, all that blue paper shreds and then that pink to complete the heart!

    Great picks! I've heard of most of them but have only read Mara Dyer - ironically, I used to dislike the cover though it's grown on me since ;)
    I love the mood invoked by the Shadowlands cover, and Hysteria reminds me of a music video by one of my favorite bands :) Awesome picks! Thanks for stopping by yesterday :)

    Thousand Words! YES. YES. I love, love Jennifer Brown, too. Hate List and Bitter End were perfect. :D

    And Mara Dyer, I forgot about her, HOW COULD I? I have the second book, I need to read it, the covers are spectacular! Gimme a Call look really sweet. I hadn't heard of it.
