New Books Out This Week 7/21

These are the new books I'm obsessing over this week:

By: Corey Ann Haydu
Bea is living with OCD and meets a guy that can actually relate to what she's going through.  But her obsessions have the potential to ruin everything she has with Beck.  Can she figure out a way to get her compulsions under control before everything blows up in her face?  This sounds so good, I can't freaking wait to read it :)

By: Trish Cook
"A hint of Recovery Road, a sample of Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, and a cut of Juno. A Really Awesome Mess is a laugh-out-loud, gut-wrenching/heart-warming story of two teenagers struggling to find love and themselves." ~Goodreads.  Dude do you need any other description??  This sounds so fun!!

By: Paul Blackwell
Callum goes over a waterfall and has a near-death experience.  He wakes up in a hospital in a new reality where nothing makes much sense to him.  Nothing is how he remembers it to be, including his best friend, among other people, wanting him dead.

By: Alexander Vance
Middle Grade!!!  12-year-old Quentin delivers break-up messages for a fee.  But he finds out his entrepreneurial pursuit makes having his own relationship kind of complicated.

Other Books Out This Week:

  • The Fury By: Alexander Gordon Smith- A YA Zombie/Horror about 3 teens who have to figure out why the world wants to kill them.
  • A Darkness Strange and Lovely (Something Strange and Deadly #2) By: Susan Dennard- I LOVE this cover, it's so darn pretty!!  This is book #2 in this YA Sci-Fi/Steampunk series.
  • Shadows of Glass (Ashes Trilogy #2) By: Kassy Tayler- "A whirlwind of adventure, romance, conspiracy and the struggle to stay alive in a dystopian world where nothing is as it seems." ~Goodreads
  • Of Beast and Beauty By: Stacey Jay- A YA fairy-tale retelling with a sci-fi twist.
  • Nomad By: J.L. Bryan- A YA Dystopian where a girl time-travels to 2013 to assassinate a future dictator.  Very Terminator-ish!
  • Contaminated By: Em Garner- A YA Zombie/Horror in which a popular weight loss drink has turned people into dangerous creatures that the government rounds up and either kills or rehabilitates.
  • Starglass (Starglass #1) By: Phoebe North- A YA Dystopian set in space.
  • Escaping Reality (The Secret Life of Amy Bensen #1) By: Lisa Renee Jones- A New Adult Contemporary.
  • Lost for You (Lost #2) By: B.J. Harvey
  • Extremities: Stories of Death, Murder, and Revenge By: David Lubar- A short story collection written for teens involving death, murder, and revenge.

I can't wait to start A Really Awesome Mess and I'm definitely buying OCD Love Story!!  What's got you excited for this week??
