Today's Topic:
Top Ten Books On My Fall 2013 TBR List
These are the books coming out Sept-Nov that I'm dying to read:
1. Premeditated by Josin L. McQuein- Been wanting to read this for SO LONG!! And it's finally coming out October 6!!
2. Fault Line by Christa Desir- Love the cover and it sounds intense! It comes out October 1.
3. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell- Finally a college book!! And it's not about sex, sex, sex. I gotta read this soon!
4. Loud Awake and Lost by Adele Griffin- Adele Griffin intrigues me. I haven't decided if I love her or if I even get her at all... but I must find out!
5. Bang (Visions #2) by Lisa McMann- October 8... I'm all over it! I loved Crash and must know why the visions are jumping!
6. Reality Boy by A.S. King- A.S. King is amazing! It's a must read for me!
7. Jessica Darling's It List #1 by Megan McCafferty- So yeah it's a middle grade... but !!! I LOVE Jessica Darling.
8. Hereafter (Shadowlands #2) by Kate Brian- After the mind-f**k of Shadowlands, I MUST read this one!
9. Sick by Tom Leveen- Zombie books freak me out... but I can't resist reading one every now and then... esp. when one of my FAV authors writes it!!
10. Six Months Later by Natalie Richards- Sounds super interesting and has gotten a lot of good reviews! I love the idea of falling asleep and waking up 6 months later!

Fangirl, Yes! It's amazing. I also want to read Reality Boy and Jessica Darling's It List, I have yet to read anything by either of those authors so I think I'll start with these books. Great list!

All I can say is that Fangirl is fantastic- read it soon. Haha. I hope you enjoy it. I have never had any luck with Lisa McMann's novels. But maybe I can try again.

We have a few of the same picks. Fangirl is fantastic, my favorite book of the year so far! And I'm reading Fault Line next, I'm excited for it, but also nervous. And I hadn't heard about Six Months Later, it sounds really good so thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteAfter I posted my list I saw Fangirl somewhere and was like sdjhbvkjbn gdfsdb. I can't believe I forgot it. Haha. It's been getting SO MUCH love. I'm excited to read it.

I just saw Fangirl on your list and had a total "D'oh!" moment! Want to read that one so badly! :) Interesting list, haven't heard of a few of them...they are now going on my TBR list. It will never be in danger of getting to small, that's for sure!

Is Shadowlands good? Is it like Private and Privelege series?
ReplyDeleteYes it's really good... but the ending is like !?!?!?!? I felt like I was punched in the face :) I don't think it's like her other series. It's about a girl who has to flee to an island/town to escape a serial killer who is obsessed w/ her.
DeleteWell Private was also about Arianna trying to kill off Reed all the time. So it is kinda similar. But I'll check it out nevertheless. Kate Brian writes well.

Ooh, some of these I'm right with you on and I can't believe I left off my own list! Premeditated, Six Months Later, and Fault Line are some I'm really excited about. And Bang is coming out soon! It snuck up on me... I'll have to get to Crash really soon! Great picks, though. Hopefully you enjoy them! :)
ReplyDeleteI actually just finished Sick and Six Months Later and I really enjoyed both of them :) Fangirl is on my wishlist and I'm going to have to check out Loud Awake and Lost since it sounds really interesting!
