New YA Releases for the Week of 9/6

These are the books I'm obsessing over this week:

(Winger #2)
By: Andrew Smith
The return of Ryan Dean!!!  I'm so excited for the sequel to Winger.

By: Kate Scelsa
A shy art geek meets a pair of best friends with a variety of issues and gets sucked in to their world.

By: Courtney Sheinmel
A girl who used to be rich, but now is relegated to a falling apart mansion in the outskirts of town, finds herself the object of affection for the son of a senator.  She soon finds out that her new boy's family has secrets too, and those secrets are tied to her family secrets.

By: Rachel Shane
When Kasey screws up everything in a really short period of time, she decides to blog about it and figure out how to fix things.

(Bloody Mary #2)
By: Hillary Monahan
When Jess, Shauna, and Kitty release Mary from the reflection, they have to figure out the truth about her death to put her soul to rest.  Otherwise, they must face the wrath of the ghost herself.

By: Marci Lyn Curtis
Maggie goes blind and is having a hard time adjusting.  Then she meets Ben, a ten year old boy that she can SEE.

By: Shalanda Stanley
4 teens are on the run from the police after a domestic fight turned deadly.

By: Ainslie Hogarth
Noelle works nightshift at the infamous Boy Meets Girl Inn, a place where grisly murders happened years ago.  She writes all of her experiences with the "haunted" hotel along with her family and social life in her journal.  When another bloodbath takes place, her journal becomes a key piece of evidence in the invesitgation.

Other Books Coming Out This Week:

SO EXCITED for Stand-Off!!!  I loved Winger in a crazy way and when I heard there would be a sequel, my heart wanted to burst.  But now it's finally here and I can read it!!  I also want to read Fans of the Impossible Life and The One Thing.  Maybe Edgewater and The Boy Meets Girl Massacre as well.  What are you loving this week??

  3. I *love* THE ONE THING and DROWNING IS INEVITABLE. W/ THE ONE THING I was laughing so hard - out loud. That's very hard for me to do. It has a very sarcastic voice but it works for the protagonist (she recently becomes blind after getting sick), and DROWNING IS INEVITABLE is so so beautifully written. I am so excited they are out in the world so other people can read them. Also Michelle this is my favorite post of yours - always reminding me what is out to read. I am interested in picking up EDGEWATER but have to wait for some time.........I just started grad school.
