New YA Book Releases For The Week Of 2/21

These are the books I'm obsessing over this week:

By: Goldy Moldavsky

By: Sara Barnard
Caddy and Rosie are inseparable until Suzanne joins the group.  Caddy goes from jealous of Rosie and Suzanne's new bond, to getting drawn in by Suzanne's spontaneity and the thrill of doing risky, sometimes dangerous things she never would have done normally.

By: Tommy Wallach
A boy who hasn't spoken in 5 years, hangs out in hotels in his spare time, and meets a girl with an equally peculiar condition.

By: Carol Snow
Daisy's best friend Henry goes missing, and no one seems to care except her.  When she finds a note he left behind saying "SAVE ME", she heads into the California wilderness to find out the reason for his sudden vanishing.

(Shades of Magic #2)
By: V.E. Schwab
The 2nd book in this YA/Adult Fantasy trilogy.

(Everlife #1)
By: Gena Showalter
Ten lives in world where your Firstlife is where you side with 2 warring factions before you die and enter Everlife.  She's spent the last year locked up because she refuses to make that choice.

By: Victoria Scott
Astrid lives in a world that revolves around betting on life-like mechanical horses racing.  Her family has already lost it all twice due to gambling, but when she gets an amazing opportunity she decides to go for broke.

By: Bonnie-Sue Hitchcock
It's Alaska in 1970, and 4 people facing different problems are about to have their lives intersect.

Other Books Coming Out This Week:

This week I am super excited for After the Woods!  It's been of my most anticipated books for 2016.  I also think Kill the Boy Band sounds interesting.  And I'm down to read Beautiful Broken Things (OMG beautiful cover!) and Thanks for the Trouble (because I almost really liked We All Looked Up).  What are you thinking of reading as March approaches?

  1. i am not sure why... especially since I am not a fan girl of boy bands and a little above such antics... but kill the boy band sounds super fun.

    1. I totally agree... I do not get down with annoying boy band psycho fans, but I am still really wanting to read that book :)

  5. I read The Smell of Other People's Houses and it was really good! Read like more of a contemp and the writing was beautiful. But I'm excited for A Gathering of Shadows this week! I cannot wait for more from these characters and this world.

    1. I like the idea of The Smell of Other People's Houses.... but I just don't like the title!! You know when you are walking in an apartment building and you can smell all the different neighbor's gross food that they cooked?? THAT'S what I think about every time I say the title in my head.

  9. Very intrigued by The Last Place on Earth since I used to live in the California mountains. Wish you had said more about "A Gathering of Shadows" for those not familiar with the series.
