Top Ten Books From the Last Ten Years
- I was going to do this week's topic (Unpopular Bookish Opinions), but I'm pretty sure all of my opinions are unpopular & I should probably not make myself look any more unlikable than I already am. I missed the book I read in the last 10 years list a few weeks ago, so I'm going to catch up on it now. I freaking LOVE this idea for a list!! Very cool!!

- Obv. Favorite author writes a powerful/awesome book?? It's going on the list!
2017 Bad Girls with Perfect Faces by Lynn Weingarten
- This book is ME.
2016 The Way I Used to Be by Amber Smith
- This book hurt my heart and it was beautifully written.
2015 The Creeping by Alexandra Sirowy
- OBSESSED.
2014 I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson
- Jandy is queen.
2013 Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
- 2013 had so many good books that it was hard to choose, but I ended up picking this one because it has the college setting I've always wanted AND I read it in one night bawling my eyes out.
2012 Bittersweet by Sarah Ockler
- I had to get Ms. Ockler on this list.
2011 Ten Things We Did (and Probably Shouldn't Have) by Sarah Mlynowski
- This book is also ME.
2010 Some Girls Are by Courtney Summers
- This book made me a fan for life.
2009 The Hate List by Jennifer Brown
- I love Jennifer Brown. This book blew me away when I read it.
Nice list! But you know, just because you hold an opinion that you think isn't popular, doesn't mean people will dislike you for it. In fact, I'm finding that many of the bloggers doing this meme this week hold very similar "unpopular" opinions!

I really want to read Fangirl and Bad Girls with Pretty Faces soon! Also, I've seen a lot of things that I've disagreed with this morning, but they've all been presented in a way where I can nod and say, "Okay, I get that!" So I don't think anyone would hate you over this. Or, at least, I hope not. Yikes!

Haha, thanks!! I don't think people will dislike me, I just think that I show enough of that side of my opinionated side on here. Bad Girls with Perfect Faces is perfection to me. I hope you read that one!

ReplyDeleteI finally listened to the unabridged audio version of Fangirl this year... Although I liked this book, I didn't quite feel like it lived up to the hype for me.
