New Books Out This Week 8/20

These are the new books I'm obsessing over this week:

By: Kathryn Williams
"Can a spot on a teen reality show really lead to a scholarship at an elite cooking school AND a summer romance?"  I think it sounds CUTE!!!

By: Lisa Luedeke
A field hockey star who is working towards a scholarship, if only she can stay out of trouble... mainly staying away from alcohol.  But then a popular boy comes into the picture and everything goes to crap one night.  This is being recommended to fans of Speak... it goes on my to-read immediately!

By: Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus
After Max goes through a painful break-up, she decides to help others in her situation.  She starts a company that helps girls get over their ex's.  But when her own ex shows up, she realizes she has yet to take her own advice and get over him!!
I am very weary to put this book on my list because I have issues with these authors.  Nanny Diaries = awesome, funny, amazing... Nanny Returns = Would've rather Nanny not returned.... Citizen Girl = one of the worst books of all-time.  So I seriously hope that this one doesn't disappoint or they will be blacklisted from my future reading choices :)

By: Joyce Carol Oates
I'm not 100% on all the details but it has to do with teen suicide.  And I LOVED Big Mouth, Ugly Girl, so I would definitely be down for this one!
By: S.A. Bodeen
After their plane goes down, a girl and a guy are stranded on a raft in the middle of the Pacific.... could be crazy!!!

So what new books out are you excited to read??  And did I miss anything good?

  2. Pizza, Love & Other Stuff looks really cute! It's on my TBR pile, and sounds like a nice change from some of the darker genres I've been reading :)
