Top Ten Tuesday- Books to Movies That I Can't Wait For

Top Ten Tuesday is a really cool original feature/weekly meme created over at The Broke and The Bookish. Each week they post a new Top Ten List that bloggers join in on answering... and today (November 10th) I'm one of them :)

Today's Topic

Top Ten Books to Movie Adaptations I Can't Wait For

These are the ones that I am pretty sure are happening... either they are already filming, are in post-production, are about to come out, or at least have directors/producers/screen-writers attached.

1.  HUNGER GAMES- Mockingjay part 2!!!- Can't wait to see it!! Starts Nov. 20th in the U.S.
2.  Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children- Tim Burton is directing, so it should be creepy and awesome!
3.  Ready Player One- Spielberg is directing and Olivia Cooke is on board.
4.  The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight- Hailee Steinfeld is playing Hadley.
5.  Eleanor and Park- This is happening and Rainbow is writing the screenplay!!!

6.  Looking for Alaska- I LOVED this book.  Cannot wait to see how the boarding school comes to life!
7.  Fear Street- With the success of the Goosebumps movie, they're now going to turn my favorite 90's nostalgia books into a movie!!  I cannot wait!
8.  Thirteen Reasons Why- Is getting made into a Netflix Mini-Series!!!
9.  The Sky is Everywhere- Is probably/maybe/hopefully happening??
10.  Let it Snow- Coming late in 2016, but I'm excited!!

Bonus:

-Still need to watch The DUFF & Paper Towns

  • I'm really hoping I'll like The DUFF movie better than the book.  I have high hopes because I know they changed a lot for the movie.
  • I also still need to READ Paper Towns :(

What books being made into movies are you dying for??

    1. I HATED the DUFF book as well, but they changed the entire premise for the movie, so I think we have a good chance of actually liking it :) Maybe!

  7. I haven't watched Paper Towns yet either, but I loved The Duff, literally laughed my way through it. I really want to read the book of it now though!
Yes for Mockingjay! I wonder how many lists that is on this week! Less then 2 weeks to go, so so excited! It's going to be emotional though :'(
I didn't know about Thirteen Reasons Why, that sounds interesting as a mini series. There is so much John Green coming out now too, I feel like he is the YA equivalent of Nicholas Sparks!
Great list! So excited for watching!
