Top Ten The REAL TV Villains
- This is a list of MY TV Villains. They're probably not the people you looked at as villains in these shows, but I was secretly wishing they'd get written or killed off.
- I also listed my fave MOVIE VILLAINS (and they're the real deal).
1. Rory Gilmore
- I semi-almost liked Rory in the beginning-- but then the Dean thing happened (he's married you dumbass) and she went to college and started being a major douche. I won't even speak of Revival Rory because that is just overkill.
2. Dawson Leery
- I figured out he was the villain of this show when I realized that I was liking the COLLEGE years of the show because he wasn't around as much. I'm sorry-- NO ONE is picking this dude over Joshua Jackson, so just go away.
3. Danny Tanner
- I'm sure I'm not the only one, but Danny Tanner annoyed the shit out of me as a kid. Everything has to be clean, corny-ass "talks", always hugging. It was glaringly obvious that Uncle Jesse and Uncle Joey loved those kids 200 x's the amount that he did. I think there should've been a plot-twist where he wasn't paying his taxes and had to go to jail.
4. Julie Taylor
- OMG this girl. Anyone who ships her and Saracen is WRONG. He deserves so much better than this selfish, spoiled brat.
5. Andie McPhee
- Maybe she was just in the way of my JOEY/PACEY ship-- but she was fucking annoying too. I even got mad when she made an appearance on the finale.
6. Archie Andrews
- Fake redhead, noble "do the right thing" kind of guy (except when you want to get laid, then it's okay to become a baby mob boy). I mean, he's good to look at, but as a character, he's pretty much the worst.
7. & 8. Kelly Taylor & Brandon Walsh
- Nope and Nope. Kelly is the worst because she's a boyfriend stealer (DYLAN + BRENDA Forever) she wore the same dress as Brenda to prom (clearly she had more options available), and she's dick to Steve (which is just such low hanging fruit). I think she joins a cult at one point in the series-- maybe she should've stayed in that.
- Brandon is that earnest dude that always tries to do the right thing-- and by doing that ends up fucking everything up. It's not always about YOU Brandon, stay home sometimes.
9. Julie Emrick
- She may be the Pink Ranger that I loved, but on Felicity, she was not my jam. Felicity FOLLOWED Ben to college, Julie. Maybe don't try to date him if you want to be friends with her. Also, her storyline was so borrrrrring. I did not care about her adoption story & all of her scenes (besides the sexual assault, because that was tough) made her come off as so whiny and pathetic.
10. Peyton Sawyer
- I almost don't want to villainize her because she is kind of cool-- and she did go through some sad stuff... but I have to. BROOKE + LUCAS is endgame and I don't understand why the writers didn't agree with me!! I don't think that Peyton got the "Clothes over Bros" memo because she chooses the Bro every time (but usually only when he's not available).
Which Villains did you put on your list this week??
Ha love this! Some characters are just so annoying they should be killed off or something *nods* And Archie- yeah. I got so mad at him in S2, talk about a doofus.
ReplyDeletelol fun post!
I almost did TV villains, but I would never put a Gilmore Girl on the list! I was always team Logan. This list is insane, but also insanely hilarious.
ReplyDeleteTeam Logan!! Man, IDK if we can be friends anymore. It's TEAM JESS or nothing!!💜
DeleteHahaha, I'm glad there are other Team Logan's out there. Jess was a dick who got pissed when Rory didn't want to have sex with him.
DeleteJess was immature, but Logan was the dick. He was such a little spoiled rich kid-- and that smirk. I just wanted to slap it off of him. I still don't like that actor bc of it. And revival Logan??? OMG, NO!!! If Jess learned how to communicate when he was younger, I think things would've been different... but he legit could not talk to people.
DeleteI LOVE this post. I am rewatching Felicity right now and I am not into Julie. And no one is picking Dawson over Pacey. Julie Taylor was the worst. Which I mean is awful because her parents were the best.
ReplyDeleteHer parents were SO GREAT!! Why did she turn out like that?????
DeleteI always found Danny Tanner annoying as well.
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Oh yes. Andie used to really frustrate me as well. Wonderful list!
ReplyDeleteUgh yes, Archie is the worst.

OMG so much YES!!!! This is an awesome list. While I may not consider them all villains (to each their own), I completely agree with you about Rory and Dawson. Rory was a spoiled, entitled child that has no clue what her mama did for her. Dawson was a crybaby and just needed to let Joey and Pacey be. And Andie....ugh! She was SO annoying.
ReplyDeleteRight?? Like-- get out of the way Dawson!!! No one likes you. Rory, ugghhhh. I wanted to like her so much, but I just could not.
DeleteFrom everything I hear about Rory in the revival, I'm not gonna like her. With exception to one or two mistakes (the whole DEAN thing being one of them) in the show, I adore her character. :)
ReplyDeleteYou might like her. I stopped liking her long before the Revival-- and I was actually hoping she would have redemption in it.... but no. She's the same (or worse) than she was at the end of the series :(
DeleteOk I love Gilmore Girls with a passion- but you are so right! Rory is the worst!

I love it too-- but I also kind of love to hate it bc the characters in it frustrate me to no end!
DeleteHaha I love this! Archie really is the worst but I don't think I've EVER come across a TV character that I haven't hated at some point. They're all just awful sometimes!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Top Ten Tuesday post
OMG this is amazing and I agree with SO many of them! Team Pacey!
ReplyDeleteCouldn't/Can't stand the Gilmore Girls so I'm thrilled to see Rory included. Plus, Rory is a boy's name to me! Ditto Daddy Tanner too wimpy.
ReplyDeleteHa - a lot of these made me laugh. I loved old Rory, but man did she go off the rails. For me it was starting when she went to college. I haven't finished watching Dawson's Creek yet, but I am Team Joey all the way. Dawson, Jen and Andre were definitely annoying!

ReplyDeleteHonestly, Julie going after Ben was just one of the endless annoying, self-absorbed, Cluster B, trauma projections she engaged in. She goes after Ben knowing Felicity followed him to NY. She called Felicity a “lying b^tch” when Felicity was debating taking the trip with Ben AFTER Ben had already broken up with Julie. She sabotaged Felicity’s relationship with Noel by telling him about the trip. She wrote the “Felicity” song and smeared her publicly. Then, she went after Noel of all people when he was with Ruby and Julie was to have a date with Sean/Shawn the next day. There are no words! She constantly projected her own nonsense on everyone else. Including chastising Noel and Ruby about their decisions when Ruby got pregnant, and giving her a hard time for not wanting to tell Wade it was his. She then slept with the hot couch moving guy across the hall who Elena liked. I mean…FIND YOUR OWN MAN. And then dared to project her own nonsense about her dad dying onto Ben, meddled, and dared to tell Felicity she wanted to talk to Ben alone when it came to it all. And then, adding more salt in the wounds, she comes back in end of S4 and does it all again by going after Ben. Honestly, other than The Pizza Guy who killed Logan in VMars, she’s my most hated TV villain.
