Top Ten Favorite Movie Villains
- I don't read a lot of books with straight-up villains in them... Non-Romance YA Contemporary kind of blurs the lines between good and bad, so it was super hard for me to come up with villains. So, I decided why not do movies since I did THIS, THIS, and THIS post about my fave nostalgic movies recently.
1. Macaulay Culkin- The Good Son
- Macualay Culkin played an evil little boy almost too good. It creeped me out, and I loved every second of it.
- Beetlejuice was a villain in this movie, but he was also hilarious and awesome.
- I don't know anyone who wasn't creeped out by Nancy. She's a scary woman.
- Alicia Silverstone plays a fifteen-year-old girl who really knows how to live that stalker-life.
- Even comedy needs their bad guys. LOVE Jeremy Piven as a villain. Cheeeese. "Didn't we lock you in a dumpster one time?" "Yeah, I got out."
6. David- Fear
- Marky Mark totally freaked me out and made me afraid to have a boyfriend for a while.
- "It's not worth winning if you can't win big!" The coach of the evil Hawks enraged me throughout this one.
- Another sadistic coach. Coach Kilmer takes high school sports to a whole new level when the entire town treats him like a god.
- Andrew Keegan was such a skeez in this movie... it kind of solidified my love for him though!
- Holy SHIZZZ Jack Nicholson can play a scary-ass dude.
What Villains did you put on your list this week??
This is so great, I love movie villains! Yes, Macaulay Culkin was sooo creepy! Oh, and I just have to say I love The Mighty Ducks movies! Now I want to watch them all again ;)
ReplyDeleteBeetlejuice lol. Good one. And Alicia Silverstone was a good stalker. I like Jeremy Piven in just about anything, although I don't think I've seen him as a villain? that would be interesting.
ReplyDeleteI dont read many books with a strong villain in it either so it was a good idea doing movies. Beatlejuice is such an iconic character I totally agree with that one but to be honest I haven't really seen any of the others, maybe I need to now.
ReplyDeleteI don't read a lot of books with villains either. Nancy from the Craft is the best!!! I loved that movie and she was super creepy!
ReplyDeleteI loved The Good Son when I was a kid! He was so creepy. I was also a huge fan of Beetlejuice and The Craft as well. Jack Nicholson in The Shining is AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteMy Top Ten
I should have added The Good Son to my list!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my list earlier!
Dang these are great picks! I'm so excited to see The Good Son on here too. That's one of my all time favorite movies (okay, I have a lot though lol), but I never see it mentioned! Woot!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've met any of these villains, but I have been meaning to watch '10 Things' for eons now! Fun list, Michelle. :)
ReplyDeleteJoey Donner, lol. Nice one.
ReplyDeleteOh! I LOVED The Good Son! It was SO Creepy! Now you have to watch out for children ;) JK

Those are great. I didn't do TTT but I'd pick from Hannibal Lechter from Silence of the Lambs, James Spader from every 80s movie where he played a douche, Voldemort, the Terminator.
ReplyDeleteFun topic :)

ReplyDeleteI'm always amazed at just how little screentime Michael Keaton has because he's just that good and has a presence thought the film even when he's not on the screen.
And I adored Joey in 10 Things. He was such a cute evil jock type.
Love your take on this week's list, Michelle!
